How do we make an entire nation value its own heritage? By telling the stories that were left out of schoolbooks. By reclaiming the power, brilliance, and legacy of the Black ancestors who shaped Brazil — yet remain unnamed in official history. This project, created for the Month of Black Consciousness, set out to illuminate those hidden narratives. Through powerful visuals, storytelling, and cultural memory, we honored the foundational contributions of Black Brazilians — the ancestors of more than half of the country’s population. It was not just about remembrance — it was about recognition, pride, and rewriting the narrative from the inside out. Also part of Search On campaign.
